Great Win for the Boys

Great win for the boys. The final against Dashmesh Field Hockey Club went the distance, and it took a shootout to separate two sides that would not give an inch.

When it was over, Abbotsford Field Hockey Club had first place in the Men's Recreational Division at the 1st Shaheedi Tournament, hosted by Surrey Raiders Field Hockey Club.

Mr. Johal

As any good team knows, victory is not possible without great goaltending, and that is exactly how this final was won. Abbotsford's own legend stood tall, stopped a penalty stroke during the game, then saved four penalties in the shootout to bring home first place and gold for his team.
